Football Fever is a football project which focuses on 2 areas. The first looks to work with local communities (schools, college, university, community centres, voluntary organisations, youth offending team, Metropolitan Police, Job Centre) to recruit young people/young adults to be trained to become football coaches. This project looks to engage with 20 new coaches, 5 of who will be female, and they will deliver football sessions to over 300 individuals. Once qualified and DBS checked, the young people will deliver sessions within Brent, to their local community. This will be primarily children but will also look to engage with adults include walking football sessions, return to football sessions, women and girls and family kick about.

The second part of the project looks to recruit 20 young people/young adults to be trained up to become internet video sports reporters, who will work on the content of the Football Fever Internet TV channel. Training and support will be delivered in conjunction with WinkBall (an internet television network that provides channels to businesses, publishers, brands and organisations), Goldsmiths, University of London, University Campus of Football Business, Wembley and College of North West London. The training will include media training in interviewing and reporting, video production and social media.
